Same-Day Furnace Repair in Highgate

A new customer in Highgate called us one cold morning with no heat. Casey found their York furnace had a failed heat exchanger and had to shut it down for safety. The office checked the warranty and tracked down a replacement part that morning, and Andrew had the new heat exchanger in that afternoon. He also added a condensate pump and neutralizer, so the homeowners no longer need a bucket on the floor. They had heat again before the cold came back.

Daikin Heat Pump on a Log Home in Fletcher

We installed a Daikin heat pump system in this Fletcher log home, with a wall unit in one room and a floor unit in another. The outdoor unit sits on a stand set on fieldstones so it blends into the landscaping.

Why Annual Inspections Matter

During a recent inspection, one of our techs found two cracks in a furnace that could have put the family at risk. That’s what a yearly visit is for. A tune-up keeps your system safe, cuts down on breakdowns, helps it run efficiently and adds years to its life.

Keeping 14th Star Brewing Running

When 14th Star Brewing needed a new water heater, our crew installed a Bradford White 75-gallon natural gas power vent tank. It supplies hot water to their kitchen, washrooms and taproom.

A few weeks later, they called us again. The pump on their glycol chiller, which keeps the fermentation tanks at the right temperature, had failed, and the backup pump had seized too. We were on site that morning, pulled everything apart and got the system back up and running before any beer was lost.

We’re proud to help keep one of our favorite local breweries brewing. Cheers, 14th Star!

Whole-House Retrofit in Fairfax

Two of our crews spent this job upgrading the whole system in a Fairfax home. They installed a Bosch heat pump and air handler and ran all new ductwork through the house. The home also got a whole-house dehumidifier and an air exchange system to keep the air fresh and dry.

New Boilers for a Church

We removed this church’s old chimney-vented Weil-McLain boilers and water heater, then installed two NTI LX 200 boilers and an S20 water tank. The new system uses less gas and should give the building years of reliable heat and hot water.
